Apprentissage de la 2D :

  • Review of image construction and composition

  • Review perfecting academic drawing  (anatomy, human muscle and skeletal structure, perspective courses, architecture, creation of vehicles in perspective) Drawing by observation, nude, pose and movement studies

  • Computer assisted drawing, perfecting 2D digital artistry

  • Advanced image editing

  • Matte painting

  • Speed painting

  • Hyper-realistic rendering

  • Continue graphic tablet use

  • Character design

  • Environmental design

 

Learning 3D :

  • Perfecting 3D modelling: architectural & organic

  • Use of materials made up of textures and/or procedural

  • Introduction to speed modelling et poly-paint (painting on 3D virtual model)

  • Introduction to UV texturing

  • Introduction to retopology

  • Placement of details in texture (diffuse map / normal map/ displace map…)

  • Introduction to animation, setup, skinning…

  • Mastery of rendering engines allowing to obtain photorealistic renders

  • Compositing image and video

 

Compositing :

  • Integration of of virtual elements into live action film

OBJECTIVES

  • Acquire the necessary artistic and technical skills to be admitted in the specialization of your choice (Game Art or 3D animation & VFX).

  • Mastery of the 2D/3D computer programs most commonly used by graphic artists

  • Strengthen your portfolio in order to become a better candidate for a “contrat de professionnalisation” in a company

>Enhance knowledge of 2D and 3D digital artistry and choose a specialization for a targeted professional orientation.

1ST GENERAL YEAR

>One year of perfecting traditional drawing, modelling, and sculpture and introduction to 2D and 3D digital art techniques.

TRADITIONAL PREP YEAR

>One year of training in traditional drawing, modelling, and sculpture.
